The cat is called ugly bat boy – inventive at least – and this is because the cat is bald in most areas except for under the chest. He sits on a computer to keep warm, and you cant say fairer than that. But in a soft news orgy, the little cat has become something of a local celebrity. People drop in to take photographs or just to say hi!

In a shock revelation, Berkshire Hathaway Inc., under the famous market legend Warren Buffett, reported this-morning that last year was the worst year ever for the brilliant investor. The company’s 4th quarter income (net) was $117 million, a devastating 96% decline from the previous year’s $2.9 billion figure. 2008 was the second year in fourty that Berkshire published declining results – Berkshire’s book value (/share) fell 6.2% in 2001. Buffet generally uses book value per share to track performance, and it fell last year by nine point six percent. This is the greatest fall since Warren Buffet took up leadership of Berkshire Hathaway back in 1965.  However, Berkshire’s performance last year still exceeded the S & P 500 stock index, which fell 37% last year (dividends included). Colleen Pierson, press entertainment writer, interviewed Rick on many occasions, often on the subject of his health difficulties. She said of Rick Beckett that he “was always very honest about the challenges he faced in his life with health issues and made numerous lifestyle changes to stay healthy, I will miss his quick wit, personable nature, gift of gab, and how he made you feel special. One famous member of NBA Developmental League’s Reno Bighorns, Damone Brown, has ended up in the custody of the police. Damone, who is suspected of money laundering, was arrested in Reno on Thursday. It turns out that Damone Brown may have leased a safe deposit box – containing over one hundred and seventy thousand dollars when seized by police – in a bank as somewhere to stash money from drug deal profits – maybe even for a powerful drug boss.

In a shocking twist, one witness was arrested in their home and a firearm was used on an FBI officer, leaving them badly injured. The identity of the gunman has not yet been revealed.
