Alisha Mankin runs off in a U Haul truck

A Little Rock woman is behind bars after leading authorities on a wild, high-speed hunt in southern California through a change of route of trucks moving.

Palmdale began when a sheriff in Los Angeles County deputy pulled over Alisha Mankin and a male companion after a report of suspicious activity.

The man was arrested, but authorities say Mankin jump back into the truck and speed away.

The pursuit wound through the streets of Los Angeles and ended in Ventura County when the vehicle fled Mankin. Was approached by an officer and arrested.

Mankin said the CHP was wanted on two warrants. She is also booked for possession of a stolen vehicle, recklessly evading peace officer while driving under the influence of a controlled substance and misdemeanor lightning.
