She began her career as a model for Hinodi Rice Trade in Hawaii when she was only a child.
While in high school, she and her best friend Tina Horii won a talent search contest in all conducting their own choreography mixes.
This tape was given to a bunch of Japanese who then asked her to go to Japan for a career with Pony Canyon Records. She went to Japan and released three singles and performed on a series of television throughout Japan, while attending Sophia International Univerisity.

He returned to the U.S. to study at choeography: Irvine and began taking dance classes with the choreographer Alejandro Magno (Madonna, Brittany Spears) and co-founded a dance company: Personne Productions.
After three seasons for Living Colours, moved to the tour with Madonna in the Girlie Show.
