Looks like there’s some revived interest in this classic movie, Green Dolphin Street. The film had four Academy Award Nominations. It features an exotic setting for a standard 1940s romantic drama, but it’s pretty convincing.

The plot is as follows: After running away from the British Navy and living a new life in New Zealand, a sailor sends for his special girl, but hilariously gets her also-smitten sister as well – double trouble.
