Jeff Kent Retires from the dodger

Jeff Kent is scheduled to announce his retirement from baseball at Dodger Stadium on Thursday.

He spent 17 years in the major leagues, and let the house of career management leader among second basemen with 351, 74 more than Ryne Sandberg. Kent hit 377 home overall.

The 40-year-old spent the last four seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers, hitting .291 with 122 doubles, 75 homers and 311 RBIs.
