Maria Elena Holly Marks 50 Year Anniversary of Buddy’s Death

Maria Elena Holly says it will be the 50th anniversary of her husband Buddy of the death of a tribute concert at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa.

Holly said the widow of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, which is scheduled to participate in a concert held Monday night feature performances by Tommy Allsup – who was on tour in 1959 with Buddy Holly, Valens and Richardson – and Bobby Vee.
