“The Bachelor” had a change of heart, leaving his girlfriend in a lurch and viewers in their armchairs.
Jason Mesnick, 32 years old, single father, proposed to Melissa Rycrof Monday night in the final season of the ABC reality dating show. But in the shows “After the Final Rose” special, recorded six weeks after Mesnick’s proposal, Rycroft was dumped because he still had feelings for the second, Molly Malaney.
Each season of “The Bachelor” promises “the most dramatic yet,” but the outcome of the love triangle sparked passionate debates in Internet forums.
Wounded and angry, Rycroft said: “Do not call and do not talk to me. Leave me alone.”
Mesnick said he hated himself for what he was doing. Rycroft gave the twat his ring and walked off stage. Check out Rycroft’s myspace page for her own take.
